Hi, I'm Anthony Howard.
I'm a software engineer and designer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I build the whole thing, from the marketing site that brings a customer in, to the web app they sign up for, the iOS and Android apps they live in, and the API behind it all.
Most of my clients come to me because they need one person who can take an idea and ship it across every surface their users will touch. That means fewer hand-offs, faster iteration, and a product that actually feels like one product.
I've shipped work in healthcare, education, sports, AI, real estate, food, fitness, retail, construction, and HVAC, and I'm always interested in the next one.

Design, frontend, backend, mobile, infrastructure. Handling every layer of your product means fewer hand-offs, faster decisions, and a result that feels like one cohesive thing instead of bolted-together pieces.
Ship early, then iterate
Real users on a real build beat any plan. I cut scope hard to get something live, then improve it with feedback instead of guesses.
Build it like it's yours forever
Code, infrastructure, and documentation you can hand to another engineer one day. No lock-in, no clever-for-its-own-sake. Your product, your keys.
Proven tools over trendy ones
The point is your product, not my framework choices. I default to stacks that scale and that you can actually hire for if you ever need to.

The kind of projects I love.
Founders who need a technical partner to take an idea from napkin to launched. Small teams without a dedicated engineer who need to ship something polished and real. Established businesses with an idea sitting on the shelf because they don't know who to trust to build it.
I love work where the product has to be more than one thing. A website plus a mobile app. A web app plus an API plus a desktop client. A marketing site plus the SaaS platform behind it. That's where working with one person across the whole stack actually pays off.
